Last week I received an invitation to a special event from Canon USA to be held in November at Paramount Studios in Hollywood. Today, Broadcast Engineering.com is reporting that Canon is establishing a new Professional Technology and Support Center on the Sunset Gower Studios lot to serve the needs of the motion picture and television production community. The article goes on to say that the company, largely responsible for the adoption of DSLR cameras in Hollywood, will be unveiling a 4K (and above) digital cinema camera in November.
